Please review the following job description:

Design and develop custom eLearning solutions using a variety of authoring and development tools for both tracked and non-tracked purposes. Act as a consultant to learning teammates regarding eLearning capabilities that will support the learning experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

  1. Develop interactive, engaging eLearning content for both tracked and non-tracked purposes from a pre-created storyboard and/or script.

  2. Consult with Learning Experience Designers during the design phase regarding eLearning capabilities that will support the learning experience.

  3. Combine media including graphics, audio, and video to enhance online and blended learning solutions.

  4. Direct, record, and edit audio and live action video in a studio environment to include basic to intermediate video post-production.

  5. Create advanced eLearning solutions requiring custom coding such as games and simulations.

  6. Stay current with digital learning trends and partner with leadership to pilot and implement new tools.

  7. Serve as a resource for learning teammates with regard to subject matter expertise.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in instructional technology, instructional design or related field or equivalent education and related training

  2. 4 or more years of experience designing and developing interactive eLearning content for adult learners

  3. Expert proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Animate & Premiere Pro

  4. Expert proficiency with eLearning software

  5. Demonstrated proficiency with audio recording and editing software and related processes, such as Adobe Audition

  6. Demonstrated proficiency with coding such as HTML 5, XML, JavaScript, and CSS

  7. Knowledge of learning theory and instructional design processes

  8. Passion for eLearning development with a desire to continue to develop expertise

  9. Ability to manage multiple project deliverables and communicate status updates to stakeholders

  10. High level of productivity and ability to independently manage tasks to meet deadlines

  11. Ability to give and receive both positive and constructive feedback effectively to peers

  12. Ability to adapt and respond positively in a dynamic and changing environment

  13. Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

  14. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Software products

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience authoring in dominKnow One or other similar responsive eLearning development tool.

  2. Experience with Adobe Animate.

  3. Proficiency with LMS communication protocols, especially XAPI, SCORM and AICC

  4. Proficiency with video-editing/screen recording software, such as Camtasia or Teams.
