Please review the following job description:

Provide the highest level of systems analysis design and support for interfacing business and computer application systems, including integration with databases and data warehouses. Develop or modify procedures to solve complex business problems considering client needs, computer equipment capacity/limitations, operation time and form of desired results. Lead projects with moderate budgets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Lead analysis effort to gather, formulate, define and design solutions to complex business problems.

  2. Analyze requirements, plan and design applications by using techniques such as structured analysis, data modeling and information engineering.

  3. Instruct, direct and check the work of assigned/less experienced ADS Systems Analysts and serve as project leaders for medium-sized systems projects.

  4. Provide team members and users with assistance solving application-related problems, such as malfunctions and program problems.

  5. Develop, document and revise flow chart’s system design procedures, test procedures and quality standards.

  6. Review and analyze applications to locate code problems.

  7. Plan and execute appropriate testing (e.g. test plans, test cases, and test scripts) to comprehensively test assigned enhancements to business applications.

  8. Maintain an expert knowledge of testing documentation and execution skills.

  9. Coordinate the installation of application enhancements/releases of net new applications of low complexity.

  10. Expand or modify applications to serve new purposes or improve work flow.

  11. Assess the usefulness of pre-developed application packages and adapt them to a user environment.

  12. Maintain an expert business and operations knowledge of direct and associated clients in order to add value in analyzing complex and highly integrated projects. Required Skills and Competencies:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology-related field, or equivalent education and related training.

2, Ten years of experience or equivalent proficiency in application analysis and design.

  1. Experience with SQL, PL/SQL.

  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  3. Ability to work independently or as a member of a team.

  4. Ability to direct and train other team associates.

  5. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.

  6. Ability to travel, occasionally overnight. Desired Skills and Competencies:

  1. Experienced practitioner with one or more of the following:
