ASG provides secured credit facilities using Truist’s balance sheet and Asset Backed Securities (“ABS”) capital markets capabilities to Truist clients. ASG works with Banking Coverage to drive strategic client dialogue with certain key Truist clients, and is responsible for pitching, structuring, underwriting, executing and portfolio/program managing over 120 structured lending facilities. ASG also pitches, advises, structures, underwrites and executes the syndications of facilities to other institutions and the ABS capital markets issuance.
- Works closely with the senior Portfolio Manager and ASG Originations to conduct financial analysis, structure financial covenants, underwrite and portfolio manage corporate credit risks for certain clients that utilize ASG securitization loan facilities. In many instances, the companies are fintech early stage lenders, a sector that involves specialized analysis.
- Together with the senior Portfolio Manager, works closely with ASG Originations to ensure that the loan facility concentration limits and triggers align with the corporate financial covenant package.
- Helps prepare annual reviews & renewals, quarterly risk rating reviews, validating financial covenants, and tracking ticklers. Minimum Requirements -BA or BS degree in Business/Finance/Accounting/Economics major -Analytical skills and attention to detail -Solid written communication skills -Ability to quickly learn new concepts -Desire to work in corporate finance/banking
