This role will drive business growth by orchestrating the ideation, design, and delivery of existing and enhanced offerings across multiple client segments in cross-functional partnership with various partners (e.g., marketing, product, channel, technology, enablement, and other key stakeholders across the bank). As part of a broader team, this senior level role will help shape the overall vision for Community Heroes and our consumer segment.

• Demonstrate a high level of core leadership competencies, including experience working with cross-functional teams with a resource mix of managers, employees, matrixed teams, virtual teams and third parties.

• Subject Matter Expert with Technical Consulting Skills: Hypothesis-driven problem solving, market research, data analysis, story-telling and written communications, MS PowerPoint / Excel, and executive presentation skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Develops and delivers go-to-market strategies to support Community Heroes.

  2. Ensures strategies are aligned with and embedded into broader Consumer and Corporate strategy.

  3. Successfully navigates a matrix organization with cross-functional partnerships e.g., experiential design, marketing, product, channel, technology, and enablement.

  4. Drives a culture of collaboration, innovation, and positive influence on the decision-making process.

  5. Provides thoughtful research, analysis and recommendations for growth or performance improvement strategy projects.

  6. Ownership of key strategic initiatives including direct and indirect project management.

  7. Proactively communicates with key stakeholders and senior leaders, providing clear guidance on strategy timeline, and partners required investments to enable expected results.

  8. Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  1. Strong academic credentials – college degree (MBA preferred)

  2. Ten years of experience, or equivalent experience and related training

  3. Distinctive communication skills (written and verbal communication)

  4. Background in consumer financial services / banking

  5. Problem-solving skills, ability to distil insights from large datasets, strong analytical, communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in strategy consulting / strategic planning roles

  2. Deep knowledge of financial services industry including consumer / small business / direct banking – strongly preferred

  3. Proven ability to collaborate across organizational siloes

  4. Ability to lead by influence

  5. Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels in an organization

  6. Advanced proficiency with MS Office tools: PowerPoint, Excel, Word
