Responsible for monitoring, supporting and management of Application running in Production including managing and correcting issues and providing break-fix operation support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
Drives all stages of the SDLC development process, providing inputs to the Development teams including designing, building, and testing. Develops useful tools such as internal software to automate key processes or platforms where customers can send inquiries and reviews. Troubleshoots technical issues.
Analyzes analysis of available data and find the root cause of the problem. Develops technical solutions by providing problem analysis and resolution in a timely manner and explain and interpret complex, difficult, or sensitive information. Provides users with progress updates.
Prepares extensive documentation when logging product issues including observations, diagnoses, and action steps. Generates weekly reports summarizing production performance, release notes for upgrades, and troubleshooting guides.
Takes a new perspective on existing solutions to solve problems of moderate to high complexity and exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
Lead small data engineering projects with manageable risks and resource requirements; plays significant roles in larger, more complex initiatives.

Bachelor's degree and three years of experience in development or support or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
Hands-on technical experience delivering Mainframe solutions using technologies
Including COBOL, DB2, VSAM, JCL and STORED PROCEDURES.
Working experience in ChangeMan, ESP, scheduling the mainframes jobs
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
Experience with onshore/offshore support model.
Knowledge in CMoD, Mobius, Extream, View Direct and Document Direct
Basic Understanding on the Report/Content Management
Knowledge in DevOps, IDz/RDz and Agile methodology’s
Excellent programming and debugging skills
Must have experience in support releases with code deployments, log monitoring, health checks
Should be flexible to support additional tasks of Release Management,
Defect prevention activities and Code reviews
Ability to support the applications 24x7 job monitoring and troubleshooting
Perform root cause analysis, resolution for critical issue for production systems.
Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Banking or financial services experience.
