The purpose of this role is to design, develop, and execute strategies and initiatives that align to the development of sustainable medium to large solutions that advance the deployment of critical technology controls, processes, and standards. Serve as a key subject matter expert (SME) on IT operating model, methodologies, and governance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.Leads or coordinates project planning activities for medium to large initiatives including gathering, analyzing, and presenting data needed for project decision makers.
Defines project scope and obstacles that would impact the success of the initiative. Identifies and supports required changes to scope or timeline throughout the project lifecycle.
Leads execution activities including defining and organizing milestones, teams and schedules to reach project objectives.
Prepares and maintains necessary project materials and artifacts, including business cases, prioritization, project plans/task lists, business readiness materials, and post-project follow up.
Gathers and analyzes data to draw thoughtful conclusions and recommendations to leadership.
Provides tracking and reporting of project status to leadership and enterprise teams.
Creates process mapping for changes resulting from strategic projects including risks and controls and may recommend changes to existing processes to improve efficiencies.
Owns the intake of new project requests and coordination of projects within workstreams.
Establishes and maintains relationships with all stakeholders ensuring coordination across cross-functional teams.
Serves as an individual contributor with ownership of a project portfolio. May serve as a resource for junior level resources promoting a cohesive, inclusive, team-oriented culture aligned with the Truist purpose, mission, and values.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree and four to five (4-5) years of experience or equivalent combination in general business management or consulting, with a wide variety of exposure to senior business executives.
In-depth knowledge of principles, practices, theories, and/or methodologies associated with the professional discipline assigned (e.g., information technology, project management, finance, risk management, change management, etc.). Understand foundational concepts of other related professional disciplines.
Experience managing complex initiatives and projects with material strategic or operational impact to the business in terms of revenue, cost savings, or process improvement.
Ability to interpret and explain complex information to a range of senior executive audiences and build consensus among different stakeholders.
Advanced executive level communications skills, including persuasion, negotiation, and influence.
Experience leading, training, mentoring, and coaching other teammates.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated experience facilitating strategic and annual planning cycles, including capturing strategic intent, rationalizing portfolios, and prioritizing initiatives for funding.
Strong understanding of portfolio management best practices, and how to align project portfolios with long-term business and IT strategies.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across ET divisions.
Ability to analyze data, validate information and use insights to inform decision-making and optimize performance.
