Please review the following job description:

Responsible for advising investment grade corporate and institutional clients on capital structure strategy, acquisition financing, liability management, investor outreach and market approach. Provide ongoing market insights and impact on clients of changing macro and micro market conditions. Build and maintain relationships with senior client and prospect personnel. Collaborate with bankers and product partners to provide coordinated and seamless advice to clients.

Expectations are that Truist Securities is moving towards or maintaining active book-runner roles on bond market financings with each client.

Business is organized into "pods," each covering an industry sector or sectors.

  1. Plays an integral role in supporting new business development, due diligence, and/or transaction execution.

  2. Under limited supervision, performs tasks assigned and managed by senior staff, including drafting internal and external documents and marketing materials, executing transactions, as well as working with clients, attorneys, investors, interested parties and/or other senior professionals on a day-to-day basis.

  3. May coach and mentor Analysts or Interns. Builds cross-functional relationships within Corporate & Institutional Group.

Required Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS degree

  2. Licenses: Series 7, 79, 63, or willingness to obtain within 100 days of start date.

  3. 3+ years of related work experience

  4. Strong knowledge of investment banking, market, industry sector, and/or financial products

  5. Mastery of financial and accounting concepts to facilitate the creation or review of in-depth financial models involved in transactions

  6. Strong organizational and leadership skills

  7. Advanced skills in written and oral communications, and interpersonal relationship management

  8. Solid analytical and sales skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong skills with Microsoft Excel, preferring proficiency in working with macros and VBA.
