This position functions as an individual contributor and works independently and within a team to ensure high quality execution of OpEx initiatives.
The Operational Excellence and Transformation team (OpEx) is an independent, dynamic group of entrepreneurial consultants that empowers our business partners to accelerate and innovate. Within the Truist Banking Operations division, the OpEx team ensures ongoing business and operational vitality by applying our business and operations expertise across people, process, and technology dimensions.
To drive continuous execution and efficiency, our team partners with Operations lines of business to develop and deliver the most strategic transformational initiatives. We leverage capabilities across four functions to deliver operational transformation and advisory services:
Transformation Teams: Lead the highest impact integration and transformation initiatives for banking Operations as a strategic partner, not just as a project manager
Business Intelligence & Reporting: Expand and harmonize an executive view of operational metrics and reporting infrastructure to enable data driven decision making and continuous improvement
End to End Optimization & Strategic Enablement: Accelerate stronger execution, change management, and client experience to drive continuous improvement for operational sustainability
Talent and & Communication: Lead human capital management initiatives and programs to support and enable our teams across Banking Operations
All roles within our team are linked into transformation and integration efforts along the above functional areas.

Partnering with teammates on key project tasks and delivery, with increasing ownership and responsibility
Facilitating the execution of identified scope; identifying opportunities for collaboration or synergies across initiatives
Responsibility for delivery on key projects and asks, on time and with quality, showing vision direction and effectiveness; ability to influence team direction and guide junior teammates' deliverables
Identifies, develops, and tests creative solutions to challenging problems, analyzing and managing project risks, monitoring progress, and communicating opportunities
Provides assistance to projects or teammates beyond the scope of their immediate scope and initial remit
Supporting design and implementation of developed process-oriented solutions or projects
Partnering with teammates to ensure adequate change management and adoption
Building relationships internal and external to the business unit to ensure initiative success; leverage relationships with teammates to establish recognition within OpEx
Displays mastery of core business functions within Banking Operations and Operational Excellence and Transformation, while possessing a solid foundation of industry-specific knowledge

College Degree or equivalent education, or commensurate training and work-related experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PPT, Excel, Visio)
Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication
Ability to work in a fast paced, highly complex, results driven environment
Financial Services Experience, focused in consumer banking and/or lending
Prior experience in the consulting industry
Knowledge of with operational and technical environments of financial institutions, including knowledge of applicable banking laws and regulations
