The personalization imperative for Truist revolves around enabling our Marketing efforts with robust client and consumer data, connecting that data to our marketing touchpoints, and communicating effectively to consumers in a timely, relevant manner based on deeply understanding those consumers. This role will help support, (and at times lead), the day to day project operations around implementing personalized strategies and tactics across Truist’s marketing channels.

This role will develop marketing, merchandising, and creative strategies to promote and sell Truist’s products and services through digital channels (website, social, mobile, online banking and email). Manage the implementation of online marketing programs and analyzes their effectiveness by leveraging expert-level knowledge of online strategies and marketing automation platforms to execute demand generation strategies and programs that fulfill client journeys while delivering on measurable business objectives for sales, revenue, market share and profitability including new client acquisition, client retention, cross-sells, and self-service adoption across enterprise product lines. Enhance optimization by testing, analytics, providing insights and educating stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Help identify new strategic opportunities and growth areas for personalized marketing interactions and journeys

  2. Apply in-depth and specialized expertise and/or a significant breadth of expertise in Marketing and other related disciplines including creative development and market research.

  3. Manage large marketing initiatives, utilizing all marketing channels including digital.

  4. Interpret internal/external business challenges, including client needs and competitive marketplace and recommend best practices to improve the marketing of products, processes, or services.

  5. Apply a comprehensive understanding of how the business operates to solve technical, operational, and business problems.

  6. Lead teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and complexity.

  7. Mentor less experienced teammates to build their own technical expertise.

  8. Directly impact the achievement of client, operational, project, service, and risk management objectives.

  9. Help build and maintain reporting capabilities to establish and track KPIs, and communicate the value of personalization strategies to and tactics to LOBs and senior management

  10. Deliver programs on budget and on time.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent education and related training

  2. Five years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  3. In-depth knowledge and expertise of principles, practices, theories, and/or methodologies associated with the Marketing discipline (e.g., Marketing P’s, Market research, analytics, digital)

  4. Experience managing or leading projects or project work streams and operates as a lead in a specialty capacity

  5. Knowledge of client needs and competitive landscape and the factors that differentiate Truist and its competitors in the market

  6. Ability to interpret and explain complex information to a range of audiences and build consensus among different stakeholders

  7. Ability to provide direction, coaching and mentor teammates

  8. Fluent in Excel and PowerPoint, preparing presentations for senior level teammates

  9. Developing presentation skills and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. MBA or Master's degree in related field

  2. Ten years of related experience

  3. Previous experience in financial services, retail or packaged goods industries

  4. Consumer/Commercial/Corporate/Wealth banking product and/or segment marketing experience
