Please review the following job description:

Supports the Closing Function and maintains responsibility for the loan closing process from term sheet through funding with internal deal team, the client, and third parties. Accountable for ensuring that deal is in compliance with the Company credit policies, procedures, approvals, and regulatory requirements. Focus is on transactions of high size, risk, complexity and/or industry specialization (focusing on a mix of secured and unsecured transactions, and limited industry specialization) as well as agented transactions including Left Lead deals and Loan Sales Trading Transactions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Review and Execution of Legal Documentation

  2. Knowledge of Loan Closings and Lending Regulatory Requirements

  3. Pro-Active in Identifying and Manage Risks

  4. Working Knowledge of Participations and Syndications

  5. Knowledge in Reviewing Title Work, Surveys, Lien Filings and Collateral

  6. Working Knowledge of Specialty Lending, i.e. NMTC, LSTA and Complex Large Corporate deals

  7. Meeting and/or Exceeding Clients' expectations

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  1. College Degree or 3 Years of experience in credit operations, loan consultation, loan administration, execution of Legal Documentation and loan origination, real estate construction, banking operations (documentation, client service, accounting) or related field(s)

  2. Proficiency with MS Office applications

  3. Strong Organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks under tight constraints

  4. Basic commercial credit knowledge and Loan Accounting Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance

  2. Paralegal experience with Wholesale Lending transactions from the lenders perspective

  3. Knowledge of Origination commercial loan system (NCino), AFSVision or LoanIQ as well as basic loan structures and hierarchies
