Please review the following job description:

The Senior Investment Strategy Analyst supports the development of the firm’s investment outlook, asset allocation portfolios and portfolio construction that supports $300 Billion of assets under advisement for private and institutional clients. The Strategist plays a key role in communicating IAG’s investment outlook and strategies through written publications and frequent public speaking to internal and external audiences.

Develops asset allocation and portfolio construction recommendations using quantitative and qualitative research and analysis. Ongoing evaluation of investable asset class coverage within context of available manager coverage and actionable IAG portfolio construction ideas.

Conduct research studies incorporating long-term themes and market dynamics that aid capital market assumptions, strategic portfolio structures and identify short-term tactical opportunities. Actively participate in strategy meetings with supporting documentation and rationale.

Develop and maintain research frameworks and models for the coverage of specific equity, fixed income, and/or non-traditional asset classes and strategies.

Plays a key role in communicating IAG’s investment outlook through written publications. Write or co-author timely asset class articles and topical papers consistent with overall strategy.

Travels up to 50% of the time delivering market strategy and IAG capability presentations, for client events, public events, panels and business development.

Partner with Chief Market Strategist and IAG thought leaders across appropriate disciplines to guide content consistent with strategy themes.

Support advisor prospecting and business development by showcasing IAG’s investment expertise and capabilities.

Establish and maintain influential relationships with investment professionals and management throughout the organization. Represent the firm at conference and roadshows and in the media.

Ongoing support and presentations to advisors relating to macro trends, investment strategy, process and custom analysis.

May manage junior members of the team.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, statistics, or economics. 7 to 10 years ofmacro, asset allocation, portfolio construction and/or related experienceBroad knowledge of global macro, investment and market-related conceptsExceptional communication skills (both verbal and written)Strong quantitative, research and analytical skillsExceptional level of skill in use of MS Office Excel and PowerPointAbility to travel up to 50% of the time

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong academic pedigree, e.g., MBA, PhD &/or other post-graduate degree from top-tier academic institution CFA Charterholder or other relevant designations Preferred: 10+ years of years ofmacro, asset allocation, portfolio construction and/or related experience Prior experience in writing and presenting on macro strategy, asset allocation, and investments Ability to translate complex analytical information into understandable terms for investment advisors, clients and other audiences Prior media experience Experience with investment research tools such as FactSet, Bloomberg, Thompson One, and Haver Analytics and highly skilled in MS Office PowerPoint and Excel
