Responsible for leading, developing, and executing the Truist enterprise teammate listening and insights strategy that will drive understanding of teammate sentiment, enable teammate engagement, and related initiatives that increase attraction, engagement, and retention while also positioning Truist as an employer of choice. This role is at the forefront for providing thought leadership and a strategic lens in guiding and designing teammate listening strategies and practices. A successful candidate will:
Strategically collaborate with executive and senior leaders, advisory groups, and other key stakeholders to mature voice of teammate insights across multiple channels and to ensure programs and initiatives are prioritized and supportive of business strategies.
Manage a team of professionals who lead teammate listening, insights, and engagement efforts.
Enable leadership with industry-leading research and best practices that lead to better teammate experiences, creates a culture of recognition and appreciation, and is in alignment with the organization's purpose, mission and values and teammate value proposition.
Be responsible for governance and program leadership of teammate listening and engagement channels to include internal teammate surveys (e.g., engagement, lifecycle, pulse) and teammate communities (e.g., Bright Ideas) and teammate recognition.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the development and execution of the teammate listening and insights strategies and channels, to include teammate engagement, lifecycle surveys, teammate communities, and other listening channels, in alignment with the Truist mission, values and purpose. Provide thought leadership and a strategic lens to continuously evolve our listening frameworks, strategies, and practices
Implement tools and processes to capture the voice of the teammate in a modern and dynamic way - leveraging all forms of data collection across the lifecycle (including engagement surveys, new hire surveys, stay interviews, exit surveys) to create insights and influence use of teammate data to enable teammate centric strategies, programs, and processes. Oversee the design and implementation of the enterprise-wide voice of the teammate governance processes.
Lead the cross-functional listening and insights advisory group in an effort to mature and effectively leverage teammate listening and insights to inform workforce strategies, programs, and opportunities
Continuously improve and execute the Truist teammate engagement strategy, in to better understand teammate experience, and identification of high priority actions that improve experience and build our aspired culture.
Identify the Key Performance Indicators needed to understand engagement, experience, and culture; ensuring connection to passively generated data and other key people metrics such as talent attraction, retention, and turnover
Analyze teammate listening data and translate it into a story that will help communicate key takeaways and recommended action items for Truist and its teams
Consistently share and consult on teammate listening insights and implications to executive leadership and other stakeholder audiences with a focus on one team success, working collaboratively in a relationship-oriented and complex environment and effectively manage stakeholder relationships.
Partner with HC Analytics on the management and continuous improvement of data architectures, measurement strategies, privacy protection, reporting, and insights to include business impact analyses leveraging quantitative and qualitative data obtained from survey results, and our various voice of the teammate feedback channels.
Demonstrate exceptional judgment and discretion when dealing with highly sensitive people data and business issues
Work with other HR centers of excellence, The Truist Leadership Institute, HR Business Partners, and cross-functional enterprise leaders to best leverage our listening platform and data, including training leaders from other teams in use of our listening platform
Lead teammate listening and experience team ensuring the team is productive, engaged, and thriving in their careers.
Manage vendors to design progressive, complex, integrated continuous listening strategies, resources, and tools in support of the Truist business strategy. Serve as vendor relationship manager in adherence with established project and third and fourth party risk frameworks.
Stay abreast of leading-edge practices on teammate listening and insights by participating on various forums and opportunities
While operating within the bank's risk appetite, achieve results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types. Responsible and accountable for identifying and mitigating risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined.

10+ years business experience related to human capital strategy, employee listening, engagement, talent management or related human capital consulting areas in a in a mid-sized to large corporate organization/institution or consulting firm.
Vendor and third/fourth-party risk management knowledge/experience.
Experience leading enterprise-wide initiatives and projects where building strategy and influence with all levels of leadership was critical for a successful outcome
Able to analyze complex data with demonstrated understanding of statistical concepts and strong analytical skills to develop viable remedial and progressive solutions. Demonstrable ability to synthesize data and information into coherent storytelling, recommendations and influence through a combination of visual graphs and written commentary
Knowledge of emerging points of view and current thinking on employee listening, engagement, experience, employment branding and survey methodology to include analyzing both qualitative and quantitative data.
Proven ability to prioritize effectively and make tradeoffs between competing interests using judgment and decision-making abilities. Demonstrated sense of urgency/initiative and ability to partner effectively and creatively are key.
Experience exercising discretion; ability to maintain confidentiality, earn trust and build credibility with all organizational levels in a complex environment with tight and simultaneous deadlines and broad direction.
Proficiency with Microsoft; Exceptional ability to create professional PowerPoint presentations, infographics, internal communications and/or Excel reports
Advanced degree in Business, Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or related field; MBA or PhD
Demonstrable professional certifications and training in the domain of the role (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, survey design, assessments, etc.)
