Working as part of a small, fast-paced and highly-collaborative team, the Strategic Initiatives Associate will analyze, execute on, and deliver high impact projects that are key to Truist Wealth’s long term growth and profitability.

The role supports and develops strategic initiatives across Truist Wealth while working with leadership and key stakeholders within the individual Lines of Business (LOBs), providing thought leadership in tandem with analysis and presentation development to inform and execute Truist Wealth strategic goals.

This role also supports organic and inorganic opportunities, including M&A and partnerships, as they arise.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct analysis, offer problem solving support and implement strategic initiatives across Truist Wealth

  • Create materials and presentations to accurately articulate Truist Wealth strategy for broader consumption and execution

  • Execute on ad hoc strategy requests on behalf of Truist Wealth leadership and the individual LOBs/units

  • Support broader business plans, revenue synergy and expansion efforts

  • Support business optimization and efficiency improvement efforts

  • Develop annual Truist Wealth Strategic Planning materials for broader Strategic Planning

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent education and related training

  • Three or more years of work experience with previous positions requiring analytical and presentation skills

  • Excellent technical skills in Microsoft Office systems, specifically PowerPoint and Excel

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience in development, articulation or execution of strategic initiatives

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong financial and analytical skills, verbal communication skills and ability to understand and communicate complex concepts in a concise and useful manner

  • Sound and comprehensive understanding of business and organizational strategies and processes

  • Ability to think independently, interpret financial and non-financial data, collaborate effectively, balance competing priorities and prioritize as appropriate

  • M&A experience

  • Consulting experience

  • CFA certification

  • Investment Banking, Wealth Management experience
