The Leadership Development Program (LDP) is a comprehensive, structured, rotational training program which accelerates development of Truist future leaders with a strong foundation in leadership skills and financial services acumen.
TheLDP-Enterprise Trackis an 11-month full-time program focused on growing our pipeline of versatile future leaders across the enterprise. Teammates will develop a set of skills in leadership, financial services acumen, data analysis, storytelling, project management, strategy, corporate perspective, and risk governance and assurance.
After successful completion of the program, teammates may transition to a role in any of Truist’s business lines such as Marketing, Enterprise Technology, Finance, Mortgage, Retail Community Bank, Wealth, Corporate and Institutional Group, Risk, Human Resources, Audit, and more.
What to Expect
The program interweaves the three dimensions of development throughout the program.
Education: Training in large groups, small group/peer interaction, and self-study components.
Exposure: Opportunity to interact with all Executive Leaders throughout the program, as well as exposure to other senior leaders and departments.
Experience: An opportunity for on-the-job learning experiences combining learning with meaningful business impact in four rotations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Actively participate in and complete learning activities.
Contribute to business goals by completing rotation projects/assignments.
Present rotation capstones demonstrating business contributions and learnings.
Demonstrate proficiency in leadership, financial services acumen, data analysis, storytelling, project management, strategy, corporate perspective, and risk governance and assurance.
Embrace and model Truist Purpose, Mission and Values.
Collaborate and network with LDP-E and other Truist teammates.
Demonstrate initiative, a growth mindset, and flexibility/adaptability.
Invite, openly receive, and act on performance coaching and feedback.

Bachelor’s Degree required (business-related degree or coursework preferred)
Demonstrated strong academic performance
Demonstrated leadership through on-campus involvement or work experience
0 - 3 years of relevant work experience
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, and presentation skills
Demonstrated strong initiative, adaptability/flexibility, and growth mindset
Ability to work in a professional team environment
Demonstrated proficiency in basic Microsoft Office applications
Proven analytical ability and attention to detail
Ability to work well in a team environment
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
General knowledge of and enthusiasm for a career in the financial services industry
Ability to relocate to Charlotte, NC for the program, willingness to travel for on-the-job training (rotations) throughout the program, and willingness to accept an opportunity throughout the Truist footprint upon program completion
