Provides investment advice in a virtual environment with an assigned book of business. Consults with clients to uncover needs and provide opportunities to add value. Demonstrates how particular investment solutions match client's individual needs, using a wide range of investment solutions to help build an investment portfolio. Responsible for ensuring that all business transactions and practices in the individual's span of control, comply with all regulations and the Truist Code of Conduct.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Handles inbound calls from clients independently while looking for sales opportunities.

Answers client questions within set standards.

Consults with clients to uncover needs and provide opportunities to add value through holistic financial management.

Demonstrates how particular investment solutions match client's individual needs, using a wide range of investment solutions to help build an investment strategy for clients.

Leverage technology to interact with clients for communication, portfolio strategy, and display.

Responsible for ensuring that all business transactions and practices in the individuals span of control comply with all regulations and the Truist Code of Conduct

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • 3+ years experience in retail brokerage or securities industry experience

  • Strong communications, sales and presentations skills and organizational skills with an emphasis on proactive outbound calling

  • Background and understanding of basic financial planning and asset allocation techniques

  • Highly organized individual with knowledge of essential systems, policies and procedures, and investment products and services including basic financial planning and asset allocation techniques

  • Sufficient knowledge of essential systems to assist in trade execution

  • Series 7, and 66 or equivalent registrations are required

  • Insurance licenses required to sell Life Insurance, Health Insurance, Fixed Annuities and Variable Annuities

Preferred Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree in business, accounting, or related field

MBA, CFP, CFA, CIMA
