In our pursuit to continue to create a Purpose Driven Physical Workplace at Truist, we are seeking an Innovation and Emerging Technology Lead to join our growing Corporate Real Estate Workplace Planning, Workplace Design and Project Team in the Commercial Real Estate and Workplace Division. This role will define the intersection of physical real estate and technology. This role will enable our real estate portfolio to operate more effectively, efficiently and drive production for our end-users leveraging a strong focus on real estate trends and technology advancements in commercial real estate. The qualified applicant will lead the proof of concept, proof of value, and coordination of the implementation of corporate real estate emerging technologies and innovation initiatives. This will be a role that is forward thinking with a disruptive mindset, and willing to leverage a growth startup mentality to move our collective physical real estate workplace into the future with incremental improvements. For example, the integration of internet of things (IoT) to track our physical assets, how space is being utilized for design efficacy, and be proactive in supporting repair and maintenance activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead physical real estate initiatives that span strategy and road map exercises: physical real estate technology architecture definition, real estate technology product selection, application, integration design and implementation.

  • Must have the ability to articulate with C-Suite Executives to define and understand corporate real estate and business goals, strategies, capabilities, value, processes and help define the intersection of real estate and technology transformation initiatives for corporate real estate.

  • You will rapidly develop new corporate real estate technology solutions, applications of block chain solutions and methods to assess the potential for adoption across the enterprise on behalf of corporate real estate.

  • Partner with multi-disciplinary teams to understand requirements and plan architecture and solutions to enhance they on premise real estate experience.

  • Lead corporate real estate collaboration with development and operations teams to identify and capture innovative technology solutions and drive the design execution from concept to completion. This will result in atechnology/capabilitypipeline that services current and future capabilities.

  • Developing short- and long-term real estate emerging technology opportunities that have recurring review routines to validate progress, budget, and schedule adherence.

  • Develop a strategy in alignment with the CIO's vision to continuously iterate on the current programming of the Innovation and Technology Center: technology, touch and trust through innovative real estate solutions to help improve teammate productivity and drive bottom line gains to the Firm.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of senior leadership experience in corporate real estate and workplace Initiatives, Data Analytics, Cyber/block chain, Cloud and Data Science initiatives with the ability to understand and research real state trends that intersect with technology.

  • Experience in communication (i.e. written and verbal presentations) to C-Suite

  • Ability to influence and drive change at corporate level

  • Proven leadership roles and skills related to Emerging Technology, such as but not limited to Enterprise Cloud Initiatives and Migration, Digital Platforms, IoT, Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality and Blockchain platforms.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of commercial real estate (10+ years) trends and Emerging Technologies (10+ years) as well as the processes and infrastructures required to support them.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, while sustaining inflight complexities.

  • Demonstrates experience building relationships and working effectively with internal and external partners.

  • Demonstrated strong collaboration, negotiation and influencing skills in a highly matrixed organization.

  • Ability to define and effectively articulate solutions (verbally and in writing) and discuss business problems with customers positively influencing outcomes

  • Demonstrated experience defining strategic vision and translating it into implementable steps for corporate real estate emerging trends and technology.

  • Possesses strong hands-on development experience related to corporate real estate and deep technical expertise in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning as it relates to physical space, Advanced Analytics platforms, Digital Platforms, IoT used in physical space, Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality and Blockchain platforms in support of the workplace.
