Please review the following job description:

Review, analyze and assess the quality and accuracy of data elements within assigned enterprise data entities. Measure and audit large volumes of varying data for quality and evaluate the business impact of specific identified issues, as well as assist the Data Assessment Manager with compiling the results of assigned enterprise data entity reviews.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Assist with the establishment of policies, standards, guidelines and best practices for the Bank regarding design and structure of control frameworks.

  2. Analyze data within assigned enterprise data entities compared to source information to assess the accuracy and correctness of data.

  3. Make informed recommendations for remediation to the Data Assessment Manager, as appropriate.

  4. Identify, compare and escalate identified data quality problems.

  5. Utilize tools to analyze data according to defined business rules and procedures.

  6. Document and publish data quality errors.

  7. Research and review regulatory guidance and apply to framework.

  8. Update reports, track and publish data quality assessments.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent education and related training.

  2. 2 years of experience in risk, operations, administration, technology, and/or project management.

  3. Basic knowledge of balance sheet, income statement and cash flow information.

  4. Ability to understand business rules and data lineage, work with varying data formats, and develop metrics to monitor data quality.

  5. Ability to work independently or as a member of a team.

  6. Ability to lead and direct team members in completion of complex projects.

  7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  8. Strong analytical skills.

  9. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. 5 to 7 years of experience in risk, operations, administration, technology, and/or project management.

  2. 5 years of commercial lending experience.

  3. Experience in Truist lending functions.

  4. Knowledge of Truist's credit culture.

  5. Knowledge of underwriting, documentation and servicing across all types of lending activities including commercial loans, small commercial loans, retail loans and other types of specialized lending (e.g. mortgages, leasing), in addition to similar knowledge of non-lending functions.

  6. Proficiency in Truist standard software packages.
