Serve as the strategic interface with Financial Management line of business (LOBs) for the purpose of business/IT strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management, financial management and relationship management. Drive development, deployment, integration/adoption and continuous improvement of Enterprise Technology solutions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. 1. Provide highly-valued strategic consulting to LOBs and Executive Management, to facilitate awareness, support and guidance through key IT processes. 2. Communicate decisions, priorities and relevant project/process and product information to appropriate levels of staff regarding business unit requests, projects and initiatives. 3. Proactively share knowledge of technology-related risks and opportunities to build competitive advantage and improve efficiency and effectiveness of LOBs. 4. Strategically align corporate objectives, LOB objectives and IT objectives leveraging an Enterprise Technology Planning process that supports technology implementations that enable desired business outcomes. 5. Proactively serve as “trusted advisor,” and serve as primary point of contact from IT for LOB executives, managers and key contacts and represent IT while selling IT services and capabilities. 6. Drive the delivery of technology products and services to ensure business satisfaction. 7. Focus on strategic initiatives and plans, which are proactive, anticipatory and driving in nature; provide significant value to business units. 8. Facilitate the planning and execution of LOB technology requests through a structured demand intake, review and prioritization and approval process. Includes development of business case, presentation to Executive Management for approval and routing to the delivery organizations. 9. Drive development, deployment, integration/adoption and continuous improvement of Enterprise Technology solutions. 10. Provide guidance and/or support to implementations, regulatory changes, process changes and risk management. 11. Creation, forecasting and maintenance of project budgets 12. Maintain a high level of awareness and understanding of existing and emerging portfolio/program/project management strategies and best practices. Required Skills and Competencies: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or Information Technology, or equivalent education and related training 3. Seven years of relevant business and relationship experience, with broad exposure to various technical environments and business segments 4. Five years of Financial Services-related experience 5. Devotion to high-quality customer service 6. Excellent interpersonal communication skills 7. Keen analytical and research abilities 8. Knowledge of relationship management best practices 9. Problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities 10. Must be self-motivated, flexible and able to manage several jobs at one time 11. Willingness to develop an in-depth understanding of the business and related services 12. Five years of Financial Services-related experience Desired Skills: 1. Master’s degree 2.
