The Digital Marketing Strategist is responsible for the strategy to drive revenue and engagement on the Truist.com website focusing on LightStream. You will own the planning and coordination of offers and messages within the unauthenticated website experience. Working with line of business LightStream. marketing partners, you’ll understand seasonality and promotional calendars and provide recommendations for placement opportunities throughout the website. You’ll collaborate with content and design teams on the creation of digital marketing assets. You’ll leverage data driven insights to create test & learn initiatives to improve performance and conversion. You’ll educate internal partners on campaign results and drive a culture of measurement based on KPIs that drive revenue and engagement.
Duties of the Digital Marketing Strategist include:
Research, develop and execute strategies for Truist online channels to increase acquisition, retention, and deepen relationships with Truist’s LightStream customers.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of the consumer behavior model and user journeys, and how both are applied to banking products and services.
Increase Truist product awareness, consideration, and acquisition by aligning consumer needs with Truist offerings throughout the consumer behavior process.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage integrated marketing programming and effective strategies that achieve measurable business objectives.
Effectively communicate with partners and proactively maintain and manage project work plans to successfully meet deadlines.
Partner with Digital Commerce and LightStream marketing to develop product specific roadmaps to achieve LightStream goals through digital marketing strategies.
Work with Search Engine Optimization teams to optimize the website and ultimately increase visibility within search engines.
Leverage web analytics and performance data to develop and refine digital marketing strategies, improve conversion rates and enhance client experiences across digital devices.
Maintain appropriate reporting capabilities to establish and track KPIs.
Stay current on the changes taking place in the digital environment. Research and evaluate industry trends, the competitive environment and emerging technologies. Adjust strategies accordingly to ensure Truist remains at a competitive advantage.
Demonstrate strong quantitative, technical, analytical and problem-solving skills, with an aptitude for measuring results and identifying actionable insights.
QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent education and related training.
Seven years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Deep specialized (SME) and/or broad knowledge within the marketing (or related) discipline.
Sound and comprehensive understanding of business, organizational strategies and managing a process.
Ability to interpret internal and external business challenges and implement best practices to improve products, processes, or services.
Ability to lead projects of significant complexity and risk exposure.
Ability to exercise independent judgment in solving technical, operational, and organizational challenges in the context of business objectives and priorities.
Sophisticated analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical and business problems.
Ability to influence others to adopt a new perspective.
Knowledge of the industry's competitive landscape and an understanding of the market and regulatory factors that shape the industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree or MBA and previous experience in fintech/banking industry.
Experience developing digital marketing strategies that drive traffic and conversions.
Demonstrated ability to apply agile marketing methodologies and processes to large enterprise, cross-functional teams.
Ability to develop strategies that break long-term goals into short term wins to facilitate learning, quick iteration, with shorter time to market and return on investment.
Working knowledge of American Disabilities Act (ACT) compliance requirements.
Experience with Adobe products (AEP, AEM, Target, Analytics, Audience Manager and Adobe Cloud).
Understanding of API development, ad servers, dynamic tag managers, market automation platforms, content management systems, A/B multivariate testing and personalization tools.
