FIU is responsible for providing relevant, timely and actionable information and analysis on emerging AML trends. This role will be involved with the daily tactical responsibilities required to identify, collect and develop FIU reporting requirements, and to provide clearly articulated business intelligence reporting to key business partners to aid in the design of effective countermeasures.

Leverages advanced database, statistical and analytical skills to identify emerging fraud, BSA/AML trends, examples include linking AML/BSA trends and FIU production trends.
Conducts daily intelligence gathering through review of standardized and ad hoc reporting, leveraging knowledge of bank systems to investigate and determine risk
Identifies causation of BSA/AML risk through incident autopsies and defect analysis
Identification of organized criminals engaging in ML through link analysis and profiling
Creates and distributes FIU Intelligence Briefs on emerging and active fraud and BSA/AML trends
Support FIU Management with link analysis and ad hoc data requests
Develop and communicate solutions to identified trends and gaps in-partnership with teammates Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent education
BSA experience and/or experience in financial services transaction processing
Strong knowledge of various bank systems to allow for efficient and effective reviews
The ideal candidate for this role should have a natural curiosity for solving challenging and complex problems. Must be able to seamlessly work in both a structured and non-structured environment depending on demands created by emerging trends and business needs.
Ability to analyze, process, and communicate information timely and accurately
Ability and mentality to complete highly repetitive tasks
Knowledge of SAS/SQL preferred
Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office software products.
Strong, independent reasoning, analytical, organizational and time management skills Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems or Accounting preferred. Related degree with relevant work experience may be considered.
Minimum of 3+ years of experience with Tableau Business Intelligence. Expertise in developing, maintaining and managing Tableau driven dashboards & analytics, preferably with working knowledge of Tableau administration/architecture.
Deep understanding of SQL, relational databases & normalization. Proficient in the use of query and reporting analysis tools. Position may require extraction of data from databases and data warehouses for reporting and to facilitate sharing between multiple data systems.
High level competency in Excel (macros, pivot tables, etc.)
