Please review the following job description:

Responsible for developing risk reporting ensuring data quality, adherence to enterprise requirements, and risk management best practices are followed. Responsible for the administration and continuous improvement of committee governance routines. Compile and interpret risk metrics and provide results to senior leaders and risk committee.

  1. Develop risk-based reporting to support a robust risk management strategy and framework and effectively monitor and manage risk.

  2. Implement reports to support the analysis of business performance and engage in meaningful strategic conversations with senior leaders to improve results.

  3. Perform research using systems of record to identify and document root cause.

  4. Perform monthly trend analysis by Business Unit, Business Practice, and Line of Business.

  5. Engage with Enterprise Risk to understand and implement changes to loss event processes and reporting.

  6. Investigate data anomalies to resolution and recommend and implement appropriate mitigation steps.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  1. College Degree and/or equivalent education, training and experience.

  2. Financial services or risk management experience or demonstrated equivalent proficiency.

  3. Advanced analytical skills.

  4. Demonstrated proficiency Microsoft Office software products (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).

  5. Ability to extract data from source systems using Business Intelligence tools and interpret results (SQL PDOA).

  6. Experience analyzing, researching, and interpreting complex data in order to solve problems.

  7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  8. Maintain positive working relationships between peers, managers, and other internal partners.

  9. Excellent project management and organizational skills and capability to handle multiple projects at one time.

  10. Working knowledge of operational risk concepts

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Two to Five years of data management and analysis.
