Automation Architect will have complete ownership for preparing test automation solution, designing automation frameworks, and lead the implementation of automation test strategy and QE best practices.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Will be key contributor for QE-DevOps transformation
Defines and monitors metrics and KPIs for automation assignments.
Guide/mentor/coach SDETs to grow as specialists and deliver high quality results
Works with the infrastructure teams to maintain testing platforms and test environments
Manages stakeholder relationships to ensure the smooth acquisition of requirements, modification of processes, and implementation of testing solutions
Evaluate, select and implement best usage of test automation tools. Recommends new tools, techniques and methodologies needed to enhance productivity and quality.
Manages enhancements and project testing tasks to completion on time and within budget.
Collaborates with product and project teams to strategize & align long term solution test automation including roadmap, tools, framework & approach.
Provides governance and controls for projects to ensure alignment to automation standards and vision.
Serves as the testing technical leader/SME and mentors QA teams across org in testing controls.
Works with development and DevOps teams in defining CI/CD processes and frameworks
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications

10+ years of hands-on experience in Quality Engineering 5+ years of experience as an Architect and/or Engineering Manager for Test Automation projects
Experience in designing and developing multiple robust test automation tools and frameworks
5+ experience as an SDET/Developer using one of these programming languages - Java/.Net/Python
2+ Years’ experience working in BFSI domain
1+ years’ experience working with AWS Code builds and code pipelines
Extensive experience in both commercial and opensource tools (HP, SmartBear tools, Selenium, WebDriver IO, Cypress, Appium, etc.)
Experience with containerization using docker Proficient with QA tools and automation frameworks for both web and mobile platforms
Experience in creating short-term and long-term QE Roadmaps for the products and Organizations
Can effectively assess and communicate the organizational and financial impact of all QE/Automation strategies
Experience with implementing continuous integration and delivery concepts (CI/CD) using AWS to support Quality and Release Engineering
Comfortable with to Rally, GitHub and Test Management tools Proficient with Agile methodologies, Use Cases, and Scrum teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience working with geographically distributed multicultural teams
OK to travel up to 10% based on requirement.
Preferred Qualifications:
College degree in Computer Science, math or related field of study. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or related degree and eight years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
Knowledge of specific applications, technology platforms, programming languages, systems, or business segments
Banking or financial services experience. Knowledge of one or more of the following: Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design with strong analytical and debugging skills
Professional experience building high-quality apps or services from the ground up and scaling at an enterprise level
Experience with Open Source tools and frameworks
Experience with cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Strong understanding of SOA and/or Open API methodologies and service architectures
Experience using web servers, application containers, caching technologies
Solid knowledge of relational database design and development (SQL, stored procedures, data modeling)
Experience with messaging systems (i.e., MQ and JMS)
Experience with build tools, such as Git, Maven, and Jenkins. Proven ability to write comprehensive unit and integration tests
The annual base salary for this position is $130,000 - $150,000.
