To build and strengthen relationships with the largest current and potential Dealer Finance customers, developing these accounts to enhance value and serve our customers. Provide and support corporate marketing strategies benefiting the customer and the corporation while serving the community.

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies in an effort to continually enhance and differentiate all DFS product lines.

  2. Review and evaluate products, competitors, and marketplace for opportunities to enhance growth, revenue, and corresponding profitability.

  3. Consult with various levels of management to identify gaps in sales, marketing, and educational needs in order to develop strategies, ensuring that growth targets are met.

  4. Manage and leverage the SalesForce (Customer Relationship Manager) sales platform to ensure all sales resources are fully utilized.

  5. Develop and manage national and large dealer groups with complex dealer organizations with the objective of attracting and increasing business with these groups.

  6. Manage the strategy and process of setting up new Consumer Lending relationships as well as onboarding.

  7. Work with the SLG management team to participate on special projects, including process improvement, product development, technology, and revenue enhancement initiatives.

  8. Assist senior management in developing recognition and incentive programs for our large DFS customers.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, or equivalent education and related training or experience

  2. Ten years of successful experience in a marketing/management role

  3. Ten years of industry related, consumer lending experience

  4. Strong sales and negotiation skills

  5. Superior verbal and written communication skills

  6. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products

  7. Ability to travel up to 75%

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Knowledge of systems/operations supporting consumer lending products

  2. Knowledge of marketing strategy and execution in supporting consumer lending products
