During the pandemic restrictions this position will work remote but must be close to a BB&T/SunTrust/Truist mortgage hub. Post pandemic restrictions this position will work a hybrid of onsite and remote. The hubs are located in Richmond VA, Greensboro NC, Wilson NC, Greensboro NC, Charlotte NC, Atlanta GA, Orlando FL, Jacksonville FL and Tampa FL.
Knowledge of Mortgage Operations from application to final approval to repayment required. Expert level Excel user and experience querying databases required.
Supports Mortgage Operations organization by providing succinct reporting and operational insights to Senior Leadership that is used in support of short and long-term strategic objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Identify opportunities within Operations to provide analysis and recommendations to leadership team that aids decision-making and supports organizational goals.
Develop reports and analysis in an agile-manner.
Serve as a consultant to the business by maintaining an in-depth knowledge of business practices and priorities.
Continually meet established SLAs by delivering a quality product within expected timeframe.
Translate reporting and analysis into an easy to understand view that highlights the key points with little need for explanation.

Five or more years of experience in Operational Reporting, Analytics, Process Engineering or other related discipline
Expert-level Excel user and experience querying databases
Knowledge of Mortgage Operations
Strong communication skills with proven ability of preparing Executive-level analysis
- Three years of experience in Mortgage industry
2.Experience with SQL, SAS, VBA, QlikView or other data mining/visualization tools
Knowledge of Empower system and data capabilities
Familiarity with Mortgage lifecycle and key process stages
