Please review the following job description:
Assist Marketing Account Executive and Producer in sales, marketing and servicing of new and renewal business and effectively resolve client requests. Mentor with Team Support/ASR1 and assist the ASR Supervisor in procedural training of new employees.
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
Receive and respond to client requests for information or administrative action on policy changes, certificates of insurance, invoicing, underwriting, etc. Establish and maintain a good business relationship with all clients and company personnel. Monitor workflow and follow-up of Team Support/Assistant ASR. Keep a record of expiration dates on assigned accounts and coordinate with MAE and Producer on new/renewal handling. Bring to the attention of the MAE and Producer any major changes to the account during the year.
Assist MAE and Producer in obtaining new/renewal information from the client and/or carriers. Assist in having apps prepared for new/renewal business. Review apps returned by MAE for completeness and accuracy.
Prepare and issue binders, invoices, certificates, on new and renewal business. Proof policies, process endorsements, audits, reporting forms, and cancellations and initiate needed corrections to insure accuracy and completion of ratings, dates, coverage, signatures, attachments, etc. Enter and change detail in Rumba. Track and obtain outstanding orders/requests.
Collect outstanding premiums due the agency, establish payment plans, check accuracy of commissions and reconcile accounts. Make Producer aware of any potential collection problems.
General Team Support:
Set an exemplary model in following company procedures and providing assistance to all team members. Mentor with Team Support/Assistant ASR by providing guidance in understanding insurance and handling procedures.

Commercial Insurance License
Working knowledge of all accounts, binders, policies and coverage for all states and industries serviced, gained through at least four to six years of experience and continued education or equivalent experience. Experience with commercial construction accounts preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Organizational skills to plan and prioritize workflow and to develop and oversee work systems and procedures.
Strong client relations skills to build and maintain positive business relationships with clients and market contacts; including excellent communication skills and service orientation, cooperative nature, and tactfulness to resolve client and company problems.
Exemplary team orientation to keep MAEs, Producers, and others aware of major issues related to assigned accounts, and to assist others in meeting team objectives.
Persuasiveness to obtain information, commitment or payments needed from others.
Discretion to resolve unusual as well as routine work problems.
