Please review the following job description:

Support Premium Finance Strategy team by covering all aspects of Premium Finance including sales reporting, finance, marketing, and data analysis. Help support creation of data and analytics infrastructure. Complete various scheduled and ad-hoc analysis with an eye toward automation of such requests. Assist Data Strategy team in the creation of new data & analytics reports and tools.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Construct and manage reports and analyses.

  2. Help build new and streamline existing management reporting using Excel and Tableau; work with IT (if/when needed) to automate.

  3. Maintain a small portfolio of accounts in AIFS and/or Adept

  4. Complete analysis within prescribed timeframes

  5. Assist in training Carrier Returns/Portfolio Management

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related training

  2. Excellent written, editing and verbal communications skills

  3. Excellent problem resolution, decision making and strategic/analytical thinking skills

  4. Proven ability to manage multiple projects involving various stakeholders and agendas with accountability, close attention to detail, and minimal supervision

  5. Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel

  6. Ability to lead initiatives with cross-functional teams

  7. Comfortable with ambiguity, working autonomously and making independent decisions in a fast paced, results driven environment

  8. Experience in roles requiring strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience with Premium Finance or insurance businesses

  2. Ability to sort and interpret data

  3. Strong quantitative skills

The annual base salary for this position is $70,000 - $80,000.
