Please review the following job description:

Provide and manage critical depository support services including fixed income portfolio accounting. Assist in client relationship management regarding external department product/service offering including Credit, Treasury & Payment Services, Safekeeping, etc.

Job Description

  • Serve as operational manager for Portfolio Accounting

  • Directly supervise/manage subordinate teammates within assigned group.

  • Ensure full and efficient utilization of covered teammates, including duties and responsibilities both within and external to Fixed Income Services group.

  • Engage with other groups as warranted on cross-team initiatives.

  • Establish risk management expectation for applicable team; accountable for the implementation of the corporate defined guidelines.

  • Attract, retain, and develop talent of applicable team(s), with focus on diversity.

  • Work as mentor/coach to other teammates in applicable group and manage largest/highest value client relationships.

  • Provide job-specific training for covered teammates.

  • Promote a cohesive, inclusive, team-oriented culture aligned with the Truist purpose, mission, and values.

  • Evaluate, administer, and drive business model and associated tools utilized via ongoing efforts to deploy cost effective/efficient analytics, relevant support services, and industry desired/value-added approaches to those offerings.

  • Support brand and competitive position via relevant speaking engagements, association/league engagements, etc.

  • Engage with largest/most valuable clients to ensure adequate service coverage, client satisfaction, and revenue generation.

  • Engage senior management, boards, etc. wherever needed to deliver service results, provide strategic direction, assist with corporate governance issues and initiatives or deliver value propositions regarding services, ideas, etc.

  • Provide fixed income portfolio accounting and reporting services to mostly depository clients

  • Perform demos of our portfolio accounting website and reports to prospective clients

  • Drive business model growth by engaging prospective and existing fixed income customers

  • Produce written analysis of relevant fixed income accounting trends that affect our depository clients

Minimum Requirements

  • 10+ years of direct depository FI experience in applicable/relevant fields including portfolio strategies, ALM/Risk Management, investment accounting, portfolio analytics, or similar experience

  • 2 years of proven personnel management experience

  • Mastery of relevant depository laws, regulations, best practices, and expectations

  • Advanced skills in financial analytical, presentation, client relationship management, organizing, leadership and interpersonal relationship management

  • Series 7/63 licenses

  • BA/BS degree

Preferred Requirements

Prior experience with Bloomberg and The Portfolio Genius Extensive knowledge of different types of fixed income investments and related GAAP accounting standards CPA
