Please review the following job description:

Provide IRR/liquidity analysis and associated services to community depositories. Analysis/services will include interest rate risk, liquidity risk and other supporting analytics/services for routine and customized depository balance sheet risk management.

  1. Serve as primary customer contact for relevant ALM/depository analysis and services, including consultation through regular communication and relationship management with depository personnel. Includes formal presentations to senior managers, ALCO committees, and boards of directors. Will include community depository accounts between (typically) $150 mm to $15 billion in total assets.

  2. Utilize available analytical/reporting tools to create and develop deliverables for clients, sales team, and other applicable teammates.

  3. Provide oversight/training for analysts and associates (collectively junior teammates) as needed.

  4. Promote a cohesive, inclusive, team-oriented culture aligned with the Truist purpose, mission, and values.

  5. Drive business model growth through engagement of depository sales team in prospecting potential customers and engagement in other relevant prospecting/growth initiatives, along with direct engagement with existing fixed income customers.

  6. Engage in written analysis of applicable depository trends and participate in relevant, industry-specific conference and presentation opportunities. Support brand and competitive position via relevant speaking engagements, involvement in association/league engagements, etc.

  7. Assist with other internal business groups as warranted to provide product/service support, troubleshooting, relationship management, etc. as needs arise.

  8. Work with other internal teammates to optimize products, services, and opportunities for revenue enhancing engagements with depository customer/prospects.

  9. 7+ years of direct depository experience (or equivalent) in all applicable aspects of asset/liability management including interest rate and liquidity risk modeling, balance sheet/risk assessment, strategy formulation, policy review/development, corporate governance initiatives, and supporting risk measurement methods and theory.

  10. Strong working knowledge of relevant depository laws, regulations, best practices, and expectations

  11. Advanced skills in depository interest rate/liquidity risk modeling, depository financial analysis, mass & interpersonal communications, written communication, and team building.

  12. Series 7/63 licenses (to be obtained within 100 days of start date)

  13. BA/BS degree
