Please review the following job description:

(Note: The hours for this role are 11AM - 8PM M-F) Perform oversite of maintenance and repair services of facility equipment such as printers and AV setups, as well as systems such as mechanical, electrical, HVAC. May perform a variety of maintenance functions at the semi-skilled level. Responsibilities may also include furniture management, inventory, installation and repair. Maintain print room and mail room. Deliver all mail and packages to all floors within specified building.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

  1. Perform specialized maintenance work requiring semi-skilled training (i.e. initial assessment to determine action required)

  2. Typically requires specialized training and significant experience in printing, binding and finishing skills. Also need working knowledge of postal machines and how to package outgoing shipments.

  3. Incumbents work independently assessing and determining maintenance needs of facility as well as what options of contact there may be to respond to emergency issues.

  4. Deliver mail and packages to appropriate floors. Requires knowledge of groups, locations, and individuals within each group.

  5. Roles typically focus on specific areas of responsibility but require working knowledge of all equipment for redundancy of tasks.

The annual base salary for this position in New York is $60,000.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of 3 years of work related experience

  2. Knowledge of Mailing Equipment, Printing/Copying equipment, Binding and Finishing equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Specific knowledge of equipment safety guidelines with cutting equipment, binding equipment, printing equipment

  2. General knowledge of equipment safety guidelines when working with electrical and mechanical equipment

  3. Strong assessment ability on when and where to request assistance
