As a member of the Credit Systematic Trading team, you will work directly with Quantitative Developers, technology and the Investment Grade and High Yield trading desks. In the role you will be researching, developing, deploying, and monitoring cutting edge pricing models and strategies. You will assist in the management of the various systematic credit trading strategies from day to day and play a key part in the development and implementation of various other business initiatives such as portfolio trading and ETF creations and redemptions for the purpose of managing risk.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Research, develop, test and manage eTrading models and strategies for Investment Grade and High Yield Trading. Coordinate with other stakeholders, such as data science, risk associates, management and regulators as needed. Monitor model and strategy performance, KPI reporting/review in a time sensitive manner. Communicate with the trading desk to maintain the high level of domain knowledge required to understand market structures and dynamics required in order to develop/monitor strategies. Assist the Investment Grade and High Yield trading desks with the research and development of hedging strategies, including optimizing and effecting the create / redeem process. Concisely communicate risks and opportunities to the Trading desk, with a commercial mindset.

VP Level:

  1. Graduate degree in STEM from top tier institution desired.

  2. Strong understanding of current eTrading strategies and market microstructure.

  3. 2+ years of experience on a corporate credit or algorithmic trading desk.

  4. Supervises, mentors and develops junior analysts.

  5. Ability to function comfortably in a time-sensitive environment requiring collaboration and a high level of detail.

  6. Excellent programming and data analytic skills with a strong foundation in Python.

  • The annual base salary for this position in New York is $200,000
