Please review the following job description:

Provide sales, service, and loan support to Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Relationship Managers (RM) and Analyst’s managing and supporting client portfolios.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

Sales Support

  1. Assist RMs by providing sales support, including assistance with pipeline accuracy, onboarding accounts and Treasury onboarding.

  2. Support the sales process and portfolio growth through recognition of, and acting on, referral opportunities using internal resources and data. Maintain expert-level working knowledge and awareness of products and services. Partner with RMs and Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) partners in bringing attention to any potential client needs recognized through client contact or servicing opportunities and follow up with the partner areas as opportunities progress.

  3. Support team by pulling necessary reports or data, attending, and participating in meetings, completing follow up as needed and clear communication.

Service Support

  1. Provide superior client service to CRE clients taking ownership of client needs, problems, and requests, following through to ensure timely and accurate resolution.

  2. Assist in general servicing of CRE loans and fee services such as Treasury assigned to Relationship Managers, including but not limited to the completion of necessary forms and documentation, pulling & working reports, processing payments, assisting in fraud resolution, general research, bankcard servicing, tax monitoring, accounts payable, general maintenance, etc.

  3. Assist RMs with portfolio management ensuring accurate client assignment and account data. Monitor reporting and escalate as needed.

Loan and Deposit Support

  1. Assist RMs with general loan support. Deliver accurate and timely information to internal loan areas as needed. Assist the RM in staying in compliance with regulations such as Reg B, BSA/AML, etc. Collect client information and assisting with follow up. Conduct general research and clear loan documentation exceptions.

  2. Assist RM’s with compiling various forms for opening deposit accounts and coordinating opening with Deposits Team.

  3. Assist Relationship Managers in problem loan management and collection activities through review of past due reports, monitoring of payment postings and post-closing due diligence, contacting past due clients, and bringing potential collection issues to the awareness of the Relationship Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  1. High School diploma, or equivalent education and related training

  2. Three years of related experience, preferably within financial services

  3. Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze and resolve issues independently

  4. Advanced knowledge of related systems and processes

  5. Good communication skills, both written and verbal, in relating to internal and external clients and contacts

  6. Good organizational skills

  7. Ability to complete all core courses outlined in the CCS training curriculum timely

  8. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Associate degree in related field

  2. Possess working product knowledge of bank services and Financial Services Industry

  3. Possess math aptitude with ability to grasp general accounting and financial concepts

  4. Possess working knowledge of excel and/or reporting applications.
