Responsible for developing and accessing technical IT / cybersecurity controls necessary for safeguarding the firm's information systems and applications. Perform risk oriented reviews of policies, standards, technical standards and organizational process. Conduct risk assessments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the cyber discipline owner in developing and maturing governance controls and process across functional areas such as static application security testing (SAST), software composition analysis (SCA), dynamic application security testing (DAST), and penetration testing.
Works with both business and technical contacts to conduct risk assessments which may include a business risk impact analysis, application assessments, supplier assessments or other activities to help ensure that applications and systems comply with Truist's cyber security program (or have a documented exception in place) in support of applicable laws, regulations /guidance, and industry standards.
Analyzes cyber risk factors and makes recommendations concerning risk ratings and assessment activities, as well as mitigation controls and remediation plans.
Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan the use of new information security technologies, or modifications to existing equipment and systems that will provide capability for proposed project or work load, efficient operation and effective use of allotted resources
Use sophisticated analytical thought through models, testing, and experience to exercise judgment and identify innovative solutions.
Works on project teams to determine relevant security assessment processes and controls.
Support management in development and tracking of remediation actions that address gaps or issues.

Bachelor’s degree preferably in regulatory affairs, business, organizational or compliance law, or financial services
Ten years related experience at a large financial institution performing legal, compliance, or other duties such as risk management and/or project management
Ability to lead projects of moderate complexity and notable risk exposure.
Strong knowledge on cybersecurity risks, frameworks, best practices and industry/regulatory requirements. Knowledge and experience in use of cyber security governance programs.
Master’s degree or MBA and ten years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Banking or financial services experience.
Information Technology Audit experience.
Experience with RSA Archer GRC Platform Other certifications (e.g. CISA, CRISC, GSEC, Security+, CASP+, GIAC, SSCP, etc.)
