Serves as the relationship manager for internal or external vendor relationships, including offshore services. Handles matters relating to contract administration, process management and/or relationship financial and performance management.
The purpose of this role is to contribute to the development of sustainable solutions that advance development of financial management processes that advance Enterprise Technology (ET) operational performance by working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, utilizing strong analytics and data-driven problem-solving skills. Supports the ET Business Management Operations (BMO) team in developing roadmaps, validating reporting, and providing analysis and insights. Works closely with key stakeholders to advance ET financial and reporting management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manages holistic relationship with assigned Strategic Supplier Partners to facilitate the exchange of business plans and facilitating roadmap strategy sessions with the goal of the development and/or deploying new products and/or services from the Supplier to further the achievement of Truist strategies and goals.
Manages stakeholder’s day-to-day business needs.
Monitors internal and external service relationships to ensure quality of service delivery, client satisfaction, operational efficiencies and achievement of target cost savings.
Assists in ensuring operational integrity, contract compliance and risk mitigation.
Collects, routes and guides contract changes through Truist processes for vendor or Truist requested contract changes. Focuses on IT specific requirements, e.g., price/ performance, functionality, coexistence with existing systems, support terms, SLA and price caps.
Monitors and tracks supplier performance issues while identifying potentially problematic trends.
Acts as an escalation point for supplier issues inclusive of unfavorable supplier response time concerns.
Assists in the development of correction action plans for standards that are not met by the supplier (Continuous Improvement Plan).
Establishes vendor performance metrics, measurability, service/product delivery satisfaction and reporting.
Establishes and facilitates periodic vendor performance measurability meetings and senior management briefings.
Reviews and approves of business continuity and disaster recovery plans related to the services delivered by the vendor.
Owns and manages entire vendor portfolio and pipeline of assigned vendor relationships and contract activities.
Serves as first line, tactical conduit for communication between LOBs/teammates and the service provider(s).
Executes on timely closure of compliance related ongoing governance activities/action plans/findings and partners with Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) and compliance teams to ensure contracts/suppliers meet all required regulations and expectations.
Typically leads moderately complex projects and participates in larger, more complex initiatives. Solves complex technical and operational problems.
Acts as a mentoring resource for teammates with less experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
In-depth knowledge of principles, practices, theories, and/or methodologies associated with the professional discipline (e.g., information technology, project management, finance, supplier management, risk management, etc.).
Understands foundational concepts of other related professional disciplines.
Experience managing small projects.
Ability to interpret and explain complex information to a range of audiences and build consensus among different stakeholders. Ability to provide direction and mentor less experienced teammates.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Banking or financial services experience.
Experience with third-party suppliers and/or remote or offshore or outsourced activities.
Experience with ARCHER, Ariba and/or Fieldglass system(s) a plus!
Advanced skills/experience in Excel (i.e., VLOOKUP, manipulating data, etc.) and PowerPoint preferred.
Experience in interacting with and leading initiatives involving senior IT and or business leaders.
Solid networking skills and relationship developments skills.
Demonstrated verbal and written communication competency.
Experience with developing vision statements and business plans for technical information systems and facilitating the communication of strategic objectives with external supplier partners.
Understanding of key business processes and competitive strategies related to the IT function.
