Please review the following job description:

Provide first line of defense support for Truist Enterprise Technology business unit segments in the execution of risk programs. Provide business office and project management support for the Enterprise Technology Governance and Controls Office (GCO). Collaborate and execute on risk program execution, project management assignments, reporting and business office deliverables.

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

  • Owns and completes first line of defense risk tasks related to policies, issues, regulatory requests, projects, reporting, and committees to drive effective governance structures and requirements to effectively manage and mitigate risks.

  • Support and contribute to the design, implementation, and execution of comprehensive, forward-looking, and risk-based frameworks, processes, and systems for prioritizing, structuring, reviewing and approving governance materials throughout the company.

  • Conduct data aggregation to support risk related reporting.

  • Assist with the completion and review process for risk dashboards, scorecards, project plan updates etc.

  • Assist with the generation of content for management and risk program governance committees.

  • Plan, coordinate and lead department wide meetings and events.

  • Maintain department wide organizational charts, onboarding guides, and other department documentation

  • Develop strong working relationships across GCO and Enterprise Technology business units, project teams, and working groups.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Communications or equivalent education and related training.

  • Three to five years of financial services or risk management experience or demonstrated equivalent proficiency, and/or equivalent education, training and experience.

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills with ability to interact and communicate within all levels of organization, across functions, and within public sector/governmental agencies.

  • Strong analytical, cognitive, conceptual, critical thinking and organizational skills.Demonstrated leadership, communication (verbal and written), presentation and facilitation skills.

  • Demonstrated planning ability with demonstrated judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in related field or equivalent education and related training.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint and Visio software products.

  • Detailed oriented, self-starter.

  • Intermediate to Advanced skills and experience developing MS PowerPoint slides and presentations
