Please review the following job description:

Sell new personal lines and/or small business P&C insurance coverages to bank referrals, teammates and any other referral sources in a centralized sales environment. Learning different insurance coverages and products to effectively identify individual client needs. Build relationships with IRM partners to offer an insurance solution. Production based position with focus on building a profitable book of business. New business production goals are assigned and established annually.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

  1. Effectively respond to all referrals received within 48 hours from time of receipt. If not received via Salesforce, must be entered immediately.

  2. Multi task to be able to manage a referral pipeline, insurance carrier updates and all requests.

  3. Quote and sell appropriate coverages with core carrier partners.

  4. Grow insurance knowledge on all coverages, industry trends and carrier appetites.

  5. Learn the Truist banking structure.

  6. Maintain understanding of current carrier underwriting guidelines, coverages and changes to be able to front line underwrite effectively.

  7. Work to extend client relationship to other products and services offered by McGriff Insurance Services and Truist.

  8. Learn and understand the utilization of Salesforce as a referral management tool and AMS Sagitta.

  9. Business and relationship development with referral sources to provide a steady flow of qualified referrals.

  10. Maintain P&C license with all necessary continuing education classes as necessary.

  2. Strong interpersonal skills, especially telephone demeanor,

  5. Demonstrated proficiency of basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office products
