The teammate will be part of Truist Insurance Holding, providing architectural and implementation support to migrate applications from the data center to Azure Cloud. Applies advanced knowledge of the business and cloud architecture principles to identify and evaluate alternative solutions. Leads the selection of total IT solutions methodologies, tools, and components. Responsible for creating the cloud infrastructure blueprint with cost projection guidance and support for implementing complex architectural designs for IaaS/PaaS/SaaS/network/Cyber Tools/Digital Workspace in the cloud. Applies sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify innovative solutions. Mentors engineering team to build technical expertise.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Top-down enterprise design with a focus on the business model, digital transformation, and innovation i.e., collaborate with business owners, technology leaders, and risk partners to draft the tech strategy, reflecting the corporate objectives/strategy
Develop and maintain Cloud Infrastructure and Services blueprint.
Author operating standards procedures for cloud services
Performs problem tracking, diagnosis, root-cause analysis, replication, troubleshooting, and resolution for highly complex issues.
Provides technical consultation on extremely challenging or unusual situations.
IT Landscape design in the context of business capabilities of the organization supporting enterprise objective, cost, and risk reduction.
Lead or "jump start" initiatives deemed critical to IT Services and Truist's success
Provide thought leadership in new technology innovation, incubation, introduction, and implementation critical to Truist's technology and business strategy roadmaps and ongoing success
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in IT, or equivalent education and related training with Azure architect certification
Eight years of architecture/design/delivery experience, which includes 3 years of Azure cloud platform design for IaaS, PaaS, SDWAN, Cloud Networking, APIM, VPN, Frontdoor, AppServices, Gateways, and AVD.
Comprehensive experience with various architectural domains, including infrastructure and complementary domains, such as application, data, and integration.
Strong analytical and broad architectural skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong negotiation/facilitation skills
Significant knowledge of current and emerging architecture principles, methodologies and tools

Able to access and interpret client information received from the computer and able to hear and speak with individuals in person and on the phone.
Manual Dexterity / Keyboarding
Able to work standard office equipment, including PC keyboard and mouse, copy/fax machines, and printers.
Availability
Able to work all hours scheduled, including overtime as directed by manager/supervisor and required by business need.
