Please review the following job description:

Deliver technically complex solutions. Perform system integration support for all project work. Consult and partner with the business product owners to understand the end goal and offer solutions and recommendations during the design. Work with application subject matter experts and information technology specialist as a steward of one or more applications in the group’s software portfolio. In this role you will not only be a developer and tester but be key player in the software technology life cycle and application design.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Design and develop solutions in IBM Tririga that include all built in tools as well as JAVA and SQL solutions.

  2. Provide technology support for implementing, maintaining, upgrading and monitoring applications and servers.

  3. Lead and participate in the development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support of highly complex solutions in adherence to company standards, including robust unit testing and support for subsequent release testing.

  4. Build non-functional monitoring capabilities and provide escalated support for highly complex applications in production.

  5. Build in and maintain security controls and monitoring in support of company standards.

  6. Typically lead moderately complex projects and participate in larger, more complex initiatives.

  7. Solve complex technical and operational problems. Act as a resource for teammates with less experience.

  8. Develop and maintain documents and other artifacts required for Technology Delivery process and other regulatory requirements.

  9. May oversee the work of a small team.

  10. Work with team members in an Agile environment - Focusing on Agile methods will be involved in all phases of the Agile process from definition, design, coding, testing, deployment and automating testing tools to improve efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree and 4 to 7 years of experience or equivalent education and software engineering training or experience

  2. In-depth knowledge in information systems and ability to identify, apply, and implement IT best practices

  3. Understanding of key business processes and competitive strategies related to the IT function

  4. Ability to plan and manage projects and solve complex problems by applying best practices

  5. Ability to provide direction and mentor less experienced teammates. Ability to interpret and convey complex, difficult, or sensitive information

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, math, engineering or related field of study and 8 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

  2. Tririga developer certification with 2+ years of Tririga development experience across all development tools,

  3. Tririga Module level knowledge of Capital Projects, Requests, Facilities, Maintenance, Contracts, Payables, Space, and Portfolio, experience with integrations including OSLC, Integration objects and DataConnect, Tririga UX Framework, Java development and MS SQL Server.

  4. Banking or financial services experience.

  5. Knowledge of one or more of the following: Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design with strong analytical and debugging skills.

  6. Professional experience building high-quality apps or services from the ground up and scaling at an enterprise level.

  7. Knowledge with cloud technologies, such as AWS or Azure.

  8. Understanding of SOA and/or Open API methodologies and service architectures.

  9. Experience using web servers, application containers, caching technologies.

  10. Solid knowledge of relational database design and development (SQL, stored procedures, data modeling).
