Please review the following job description:

The Truist Legal Department is looking for an associate administrative assistant to provide administrative support to Teammates on the Legal Operations team and within the Legal Department generally, working collaboratively with others to enhance the functioning of the Legal Department.


Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

  1. Perform periodic tasks to enhance the function and efficiency of the Legal Department.

  2. Provide administrative support to attorneys and paralegals in varied roles across the Legal Department.

  3. Establish and maintain files and records in accordance with legal, regulatory, and policy requirements.

  4. Collaborate with Teammates within the Legal Department and across lines of business on projects and process development.

  5. Coordinate travel or meeting arrangements, prepare expense reports, facilitate onboarding and access requests, and submit technology service requests on behalf of Teammates.

  6. Research and collect information to resolve issues as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma, or equivalent education and related training

  2. Three years of experience in a support position

  3. Clerical experience

  4. Ability to operate office equipment (e.g. copier, fax)

  5. Ability to endure light physical labor

  6. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
