Responsible for creating and leading the strategic direction and execution of Wealth’s strategic vendor partnerships and driving the transformation and continuous improvement of the Wealth platform ecosystem, delivery functions, and issues remediation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

  1. Defines and drives the strategic direction and execution for Wealth’s strategic partnerships and the broader technology and vendor ecosystem utilized by Wealth.

  2. Interfaces with Wealth’s senior leadership team to develop platform modernization plans in alignment with Wealth’s strategic direction and utilize Wealth’s strategic vendors to execute against the Wealth platform strategy.

  3. Establish and manage a governance structure that facilitates communication of changes within the Truist ecosystem to and from outsourced functions, measures appropriate business performance indicators (integrating both outsourced and retained Wealth functions), manages transition of services, escalates, and resolves challenges that may arise in delivery of services, and partners with appropriate teams to monitor, escalate and resolve risk issues relating to Wealth’s strategic vendors.

  4. Drive transformation and continuous improvement across Wealth through additional outsourcing opportunities, full utilization of vendor tools, ongoing prioritization of investment dollars.

  5. Partners with Wealth’s senior leadership team to re-define Wealth’s retained functions to operate within the managed services model including monitoring vendor performance, identifying pain points within the services provided, and capabilities needed by the business to drive future state delivery, including solutioning for identified business or regulatory issues.

  6. Ensures full utilization of vendors evolving capabilities, drives adoption of tools/digital capabilities to maximize the full value of Wealth’s strategic vendors.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications :

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

  2. A minimum of 15 years of experience in Financial Services.

  3. Complex stakeholder management experience across functions and areas of the business. Strong influencing skills to influence a range of internal and external, technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  4. Strong leadership and talent management skills with ability to work with a diverse workforce and drive results through collaborative partnerships.

  5. A bias for action, innovation and experience leading through change.

  6. Proven leadership in the implementation of complex projects, issue resolution, communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills. The ability to communicate with and influence others, conduct difficult negotiations and manage to stringent timelines for project deliverables.

  7. Ability to travel internationally.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Advance university degree in relevant field of work.

  2. FINRA series 7, 66 or 65, and 24.

  3. Experience with financial measurements, metrics and analytics.

  4. Prior experience with global process management and workforce management to include either building offshore teams and/or managing global teams in direct or matrixed environment.

  5. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
