Please review the following job description:

In collaboration with Director of Supervisory Performance & Business Delivery (Director), responsibility for driving operational strategy and execution for Premier Banking through effective partnership with CSBB and Wealth Operations, CSBB / Wealth BURM, Retail and Wealth Compliance, Digital Teams and other line of business partners.

Ensure consistency of interpretation and execution of operational policies and procedures with significant emphasis on risk mitigation, compliance, training and enablement, digital capability, and operational efficiency. Ensure execution and oversite of established operations routines and cadences focused on mitigating risk in our business execution. Evaluate and create processes which lead to continuous improvement and operational excellence while maintaining acceptable risk. Identify and mitigate risk while understanding and collaborating on how Premier operational strategy can support business revenue growth.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Responsible, in the absence of Director or as directed, for coordinating with Wealth compliance to develop and execute FINRA required licensing and registration oversight and policies of the Premier Banking line of business.

  2. Responsible for executing Premier Operational Strategy in CSBB, Enterprise, Deposit and Loan Operations and all other internal/external operational discussions.

  3. Execute system access management strategy.

  4. Accountable for client experience delivery, internal control review/internal audit performance, Premier compliance (including the client complaints process, operations controls, account documentation, compliance training completion and execution), and implementation/execution of all anti-money laundering processes and procedures.

  5. Works with Director in evaluating effectiveness of ACADIA and PPM; drafting policies and procedures for Premier Banking, as required.

  6. Identifies, informs and mitigates operation impacts from client migrations.

  7. Ensures communication of operational escalations to Premier Leadership and remediation through education, training and action planning.

  8. Assists in review and ensures monthly and annual control items are identified and completed for Premier.

  9. Assists in the execution of Premier business continuity planning in conjunction with BURM representative.

  10. Acts as Premier escalation point in the absence of Director for complex client experience issues, client error resolution, client disputes and problem management escalated past Regional Operation Managers.

  11. Acts as Liaison in the absence of Director for Premier with Financial Crimes on BSA / AML strategy & execution.

  12. Represent Premier in the absence of Director for decision on Operational Authority strategy and limits, policy / process / procedures management, as well as the exception process.

  13. In partnership with Director, work with Supervising Principal and Recruiting team with regulatory onboarding tasks.

  14. In conjunction with Director represent Premier Supervisory organization in regulatory and audit inquiries.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related training or experience

  2. SIE, Finra Series 24, 7, 66 or 65/63.

  3. 5+ years of proven supervisory/management experience in the financial services industry

  4. Proven ability to organize, direct, and apply retail banking and process and procedural knowledge to all levels of complexity; Ability to organize, direct, and perform highly complex analysis and tasks; Interpret compliance/regulatory environment; Demonstrate strong leadership ability

  5. Ability to perform multiple task in a fluid environment with the ability to work independently and as part of a team; Strong verbal and written communication skills; Strong presentation and facilitation skills; Strong analytical and problem solving skills needed

  6. 5+ years of experience and proven ability to effectively project manage tasks from assessment phase to execution

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. MBA or advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  2. Prior experience in sales management and leadership experience across multiple geographies and in a virtual environment
