Support the development and on-going maintenance of policies and procedures throughout Mortgage including credit, compliance, and operational policies and procedures that conform to regulatory and industry requirements. Coordinate with lines of business (LOBs) and stakeholders in the development of policies and procedures. Provide support to Mortgage managers in the formation of guidelines and procedures. Consistently work within the framework for policy development, review and governance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. 1. Utilize functional background and experience in partnership with Mortgage to develop policies and procedures. 2. Draft and edit general policies and procedures, serving as a resource to to Mortgage managers for policy and procedure development. 3. Interact with various departments throughout Mortgage in the development of guidelines and procedures that are consistent with the governing Bank policies. 4. Participate in the review cycle updates of all policies and procedures. 5. Report to the Mortgage Change Control and Policy Procedure Manager on all policy developments and revisions. 6. Ensure that the drafting and revision of policy is consistent with the mission, vision and values of Truist 7. Collaborate with the Policy Management and Governance Officers and Corporate Compliance to effectively and efficiently respond to regulatory and industry changes that impact Bank policy. 8. Answer questions from Mortgage personnel regarding policies, standards and procedures.
