Responsible for strategy and management of assigned Mortgage Client Journey and Digital Experiences to drive client engagement and business results. Balances business, technology and design priorities to deliver brand-defining product and service experiences. Works at the strategic level by generating innovative ideas for growth and at the tactical level by analyzing data, solving problems, and working Agile teams to execute. Drives ongoing client and user empathy to include leveraging enterprise design and innovation resources to develop deep understanding of client pain points.

Guides or directs the work of Project Managers, Product Owners, and Business Engineers/Analysts. Directly responsible for prioritization of the Agile team’s backlog. Moves fluidly between business stakeholders and technology teams to prioritize the highest value items for delivery.

Richmond, VA, Charlotte, NC, Greensboro, NC or Atlanta, GA

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Researches, analyzes, and leverages client empathy to develop deep understanding of their specific product or experience.

Analyzes the market and competitive environment to define a differentiated product vision that delivers unique value. Translates analyses into a strategic roadmap for assigned product or experience.

Leads ongoing product prioritization leveraging stakeholder input, product performance, and other key factors.

Coordinates with Scrum Master(s) to drive PI planning, sprint planning, and other agile ceremonies ensuring alignment to larger strategic change and technology road map priorities and vision

Collaborates and engages key stakeholders, including business units, technology, and other support areas in the planning and execution of projects.

Obtains partner alignment and approvals including legal, compliance, fraud, finance, marketing and others, as needed.

Works with process design, training/communications, project management, demand intake, and other partners to support the identification, prioritization, and management of efforts.

Leads and/or attends Agile ceremonies, as applicable.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

7+ years of banking, financial services, or other relevant work experience

5+ years of product, analysis, technology, and/or design experience

5+ years of leading cross functional teams preferably with a strong background in technology changes

Experience defining and delivering concurrent large-scale, cross functional change and technology initiatives

Experience in roles requiring strong communication,negotiation, and interpersonal skills along with the creation and delivery of succinct executive-level presentations toexplain and sell plans/vision

Proven ability to use data analytics, research and to drive business decisions, diagnose problems, and recommend action plans to resolve issues

High level of adaptability; responds appropriately and competently to the demands of work challenges when confronted with change, ambiguity, adversity, and other pressures.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certified SAFe® Product Owner/Product Manager (or equivalent).
