Please review the following job description:

Identify, solicit, develop, manage, service, retain and grow long-term profitable real estate business relationships in a region by offering a full range of loan, deposit, and fee-based services to existing and prospective in-footprint developers with project needs and capital stack up to $50MM. Refer additional client needs identified through the appropriate channel according to Integrated Relationship Management (IRM). Levels (I – III) should be differentiated based on years of banking experience, portfolio size, and overall potential in the role per leadership discretion.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Leverage the Truist Sales Process, Financial Insights, and the Advisory team to consistently deliver a differentiated client experience in all client, prospect and center of influence (COI) interactions. Develop and execute a marketing plan focused on winning new CRE relationships and expanding existing CRE relationships. Focus on driving continual improvement in portfolio revenue growth and new production revenue. Understand and contribute to the credit decisioning process, including analysis and interpretation of financial statements, credit structuring, underwriting requirements, policy knowledge, risk identification and mitigation, all in accordance with the Truist credit risk appetite. Proactively contact clients to fully develop regional commercial real estate banking relationships by executing on Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) principles. Include the identification of all business and personal financial needs and bring in the appropriate partners to deliver Truist solutions. Monitor, maintain and update sales activity, pipeline, and other pertinent information using the Bank’s client relationship management (CRM) system. Actively engage in understanding changing business and economic developments, as well as real estate submarkets which impact the overall regional CRE portfolio and its profitability. Represent the Bank through community and professional involvement in CRE-related groups and associations. Execute on all risk, operational, policy and quality expectations related to assigned client portfolio.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related training More than eight (8) years of experience with proven results in establishing new business relationships and retaining/growing existing business relationships Highly skilled and proficient in all aspects of finance Ability to grasp complex credits clearly Strong verbal and written communication capabilities Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
