Attract and lead a pipeline of professionals through a comprehensive, programmatic experience that supports the talent demand of the enterprise. Focus on efforts that enable teammates to develop a strong foundation in banking acumen, leadership awareness, technical knowledge, and cultural understanding. Offer a challenging growth experience that combines education, exposure and experiences, with a keen focus on business immersive rotations. Provide consultation to business leaders and HR partners related to ensure we deliver a vibrant, dynamic pipeline of talent.

*Position will be required to sit in the Corporate Office located in Charlotte, NC and relocation is provided for selected candidate.*


Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

  1. Provide leadership and direct oversight of early/high professional-level contributors.

  2. Bring thought leadership with comprehensive knowledge and expertise within the discipline of program management, talent development, as well as crossing multiple areas of specialization.

  3. Focus is on long-term planning and performance.

  4. Expert in conveying research-driven, innovative and strategic ideas at all executive/senior levels including technical, operational, and ROI positioning.

  5. Handle strategic financial concepts as cost allocation, funding priorities, and yearly funding requests.

  6. Impact the direction and resource allocation for programs, projects, or services.

  7. Develop departmental plans, including business, financial, production and/or organizational priorities.

  8. Impact results by supporting the funding of projects, products, services, and/or technologies; develops policies and plans.

  9. Interact across key enterprise stakeholders and senior leadership


Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 6 years of relevant industry-related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  2. Sound and comprehensive understanding of business and organizational strategies and processes.

  3. Ability to interpret internal and external business challenges and implement best practices to improve products, processes, or services.

  4. Ability to lead projects of significant complexity and risk exposure.

  5. Ability to exercise judgment in solving technical, operational, and organizational challenges in the context of business objectives and priorities.

  6. Sophisticated analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical and business problems.

  7. Ability to influence others to adopt a new perspective.

  8. Knowledge of the industry's competitive landscape and an understanding of the market and regulatory factors that shape the industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience working in the financial services industry

  2. Professional certification in HR related discipline (PHR, SPHR, CCP, assessments, etc)

  3. Formal project management and/or change management training or certification (PMP, PMI, CCMP, etc.)
