This position will build valuable relationships with marketing and business partners to translate business, client, and product strategies into supporting marketing programs and will be responsible for executing marketing initiatives for the Commercial Bank marketing team. Requires strong organizational skills to execute and juggle a variety of marketing projects simultaneously. This role will assume responsibility for working with multiple external vendors as well as internal stakeholders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job.

Apply in-depth knowledge of marketing concepts, best practices, and key processes derived from experience to partner within marketing and the business to implement programs. Provide marketing support to core Commercial Bank and Industry vertical marketing team, utilizing all marketing channels including digital. Lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements; plays a role in larger, more complex initiatives. Collaborate with internal marketing partners and line of business stakeholders to execute marketing initiatives and ensure alignment to the Truist Purpose and Brand. Work with internal partners and external vendors to deliver executional support of marketing content, newsletters, website updates and sales collateral. Solve routine problems of moderate complexity by analyzing possible solutions using experience, judgment and precedents. Impact a range of client, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams. Actively participate in projects, including planning and execution activities; may be responsible for a project work stream from start to finish. Works under moderate supervision. Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field, (or equivalent education).4+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience within Line of Business Marketing, Commercial Bank Marketing, or B2B Marketing.In-depth knowledge of principles, practices, theories, and/or methodologies associated with the Marketing discipline (e.g., Marketing P’s, Market research, analytics, digital).Experience managing projects or project work streams.Ability to interpret and explain complex information to a range of audiences and build consensus among different stakeholders.Ability to provide direction, and mentor less experienced teammates.Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications:

MBA or Master's degree in related field 6+ years of related experience Previous experience in financial services, retail or packaged goods industries Consumer/Commercial/Corporate/Wealth banking product and/or segment marketing experienceKnowledge of the clients and industry's competitive landscape and the factors that differentiate Truist and its competitors in the market
