The opportunity is with Truist Audit Services (TAS) on the Data Enablement & Automation team in Innovation & Analytics COE. Our mission is to deliver data, analytics and automation capabilities to our TAS teammates. This key role will play a vital part of a team that will deliver self-service automation capabilities through innovative tools and solutions.
Your day to day will be centered around delivering advanced automation engineering solutions to help drive automation initiatives across Audit Services. You will provide project leadership, analysis and solutioning for these automation efforts. As an individual contributor leader, you will provide technical leadership and consultation to business leaders and other stakeholders on how to leverage technology and custom solutions to automate business processes.

Data Scientist II - (Robotic Process Automation Engineer/Developer) role and responsibilities include:
Identify and improve design of business processes for automation.
Develop end to end automation solutions from planning, developing, implementing and supporting full scale RPA/RDA solutions using UiPath Studio, Office365 Power Automate.
Set up, test and monitor automated workflows to ensure that business processes function at optimum efficiency without risk of error/failure.
Monitor and maintain automation post-implementation and resolve any potential issues to ensure smooth business operations.
Produce process documentation in order to outline mistakes and successes and refine processes going forward.
Ensure quality automation using Quality Assurance (QA) processes and prevent any potential bugs.
Develop and maintain applications in support of audit analytics and the audit process, following software development lifecycle (SDLC) standards.
Derive technical specifications from business requirements and express complex technical concepts in terms that are understandable to associates in non-technical roles.
Manage the security of data used for audit analytics in accordance with enterprise policies and standards.
Maintain a deep understanding of all relevant computer applications operating in the same or integrated environments.
Research trends in software development and intelligent automation. Train and mentor less experienced teammates.
Champion innovative approaches across audit teams.
Participate in the Innovation & Analytics CoE as an Intelligent Automation SME.
Key abilities required for this role include:
Excellent written and verbal communication
Attention to detail
Mastery of Automation tools, such as UiPath Studio, Power Automate. 2.
Proficiency in programming languages, such as C, C++, Java, Python, R or .NET
Advanced and demonstrable knowledge of Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Advanced Analytics Tools/Capabilities.
