Please review the following job description:

The Model Risk Management team has an immediate need for a EUCT Validation Analyst. This role performs validation and governance activities around end user computing (EUCs) tools utilized in capital planning, CECL, and other business processes. Evaluate tool finding remediation efforts and develop continuous feedback for LOBs to ensure best practices for EUCs across the company.


Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

  1. Independently perform EUC validations by assessing the tool's overall suitability to its intended purpose, construct, assumptions, data and calculations, making recommendations for improvements, and thoroughly documenting all work via formal reports.

  2. Directly support and assist in the duties of the Head of Quantitative Tools.

  3. Evaluate other tool controls such as tool identification, change management, access management, and documentation.

  4. Evaluation of remediation activity associated with EUC findings.

  5. Continuously broaden and deepen expertise in analytical methods, coding, and tools via self-directed research and training.

  6. Oversee usage of key technologies to complete tool validation and monitoring.


Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or hard science field or related training.

  2. Excellent communication (verbal and written), organizational, and interpersonal skills.

  3. Excel proficiency, including experience with macros.

  4. Banking experience in credit, capital markets, asset liability management, fraud, or operational risk areas.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. CCAR, capital planning, and CECL process experience.

  2. Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., SAS, R, Python).

  3. Experience with control evaluation.
