This position is responsible for providing leadership of the Retail Lending platforms, programs and initiatives by
coordinating across and various Lines of Business (LOB). Supports the development of business solutions for
identified business needs and act in a liaison role with technology resources to define and implement effective

Work with business units and/or departments to support strategic objectives and drive cohesion and connectivity across working groups within Retail Lending.
Manage strategic objectives by establishing direction and priorities and assigning associated work efforts both directly and indirectly.
Use expert level understanding of how business processes and systems map and interface with each other to create maximum business value and achieve business objectives.
Oversee the management of business, technology and process change projects, including the development, allocation and management of the project budget or resources.
Lead the gathering and documenting business requirements and in writing system specifications for defined solutions.
Provide expertise to the Retail Lending Lines of Business in understanding applications, data and architecture processes, structures and solutions and how they can be applied to solve business problems.
Provide an analytic function through researching and gathering information, putting it into logical format, defining trends and proposing solutions to achieve organization goals.
Use leadership skills to create solutions through a team environment.
Lead negotiations between multiple levels of management and business partners to develop synergistic solutions.

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent education and training
7-10 years in lending, business administration, banking operations, strategic planning, or risk
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to interact with senior and executive leadership
Strong leadership, organizational, and planning skills
Experience in strategic planning methodology and tools
Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, negotiating, facilitating and consulting skills
Ability to work independently, proactively and operate accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment with variable deadlines
MBA, or other advanced degree
Banking school certification
Graduate of a Truist based Leadership Development Program or similar training program at a financial institution
Six Sigma (process) certified
